Hot-seating is an effective technique to use in rehearsals because you get to know a little bit more about a character and their backstory. You also get to see how different people visualise a character, other than how you visualise a character.
What did you learn about the driver?
I have learnt that the taxi driver has quite a boring life because they spend all their time driving around in a car and listening to the radio and eating a lot of take away food. They are not exactly nice to their fellow members of the public 100% of the time. It really depends on if they are in the mood or not.
